iris  pérez

is a painter, a drafts-woman, a sculptor and a ceramist.

She is born in Santo domingo, Dominican Republic.

She studied at the «Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes» and at the UASD University in Santo Domingo, RD.

She followed various workshops to specialize  in painting and in sculpture with the masters Leopoldo Pérez and Domingo Liz.

She participated in specialized courses and workshops in ceramics, engraving and art history in several institutions of the country.

She is currently a teacher for the National School of «Bellas Artes», the Musem of Contemporary Drawing and the Latin Academy of Visual Arts.

She has held teaching at the Faculty of Humanities at the INTEC University among others.
